Selenite protection grids can be set up for a bed, for one room, for an entire apartment, for a whole house, your car, or your entire property.

The energy that is generated by selenite is wonderful and when a grid is placed in a room or house, the results are wondrous. There is nothing like a constant channel to the divine, and that is what selenite is.

Creating a grid in your home with selenite will generate the same sense of lightness and peace. I have done it and you can, too. Surround yourself with pure divine white light. All who enter will feel the power. They won’t know why but they will LOVE being in your home. Negative energy is dissipated and/or expelled when using selenite in the home.

How to place your Grids

You can place a grid in each room, or one or two rooms (or even for one bed) and then an overall grid for your entire apartment or home.

Do this by placing one piece of selenite in each corner of the room you wish to energize and protect. Place each piece in a north/south alignment. This requires that you know which direction the front door of your house or apartment faces. This is important in creating the grid.

If you are creating a grid for your entire house, you will probably need more than one set of four selenite pieces if your house has an addition that creates a cut out. Like my house… there are not 4 square sides to my house. Most apartments are set up with four square side and one set of these wands will suffice. For a house that is multi-level and is not set up as a square, you will need to treat each section as a separate grid, using 4 selenite wands for each section.

Draw a picture of your home and look at the squares it makes. Each corner of each square will require a wand of selenite.

The main portion of my home is square. But an addition was built that created two rooms at one side of the house where the carport was. These two rooms are not in alignment with the rest of the front of the house. This section of the house I treat as a separate area with its own set of wands.

If your house is square, but has two floors, one grid on the lower floor will work. If you have a basement, use a separate set.

Prayer for laying a grid inside your home

Hold all the pieces of selenite you’ll be using before you on your lap and repeat this prayer:

Dear God/Goddess (or the name of your higher power). Bless this house and all who live here. Bless (and say their names here) and bless the animals who reside here with us. Bless all the people and animals who live here now and who will live here in the future. Allow strength and wisdom and courage for all who live here so that they may all live in happiness, health and prosperity. But most of all, let this be true so that we may spread as much love into the world as we are able. Let us begin now to be a channel for your Peace. Cleanse this home of all negative energy and use the Selenite to this now and always. Free this house of all harm and keep anyone away who would do harm to any one living here. Protect us and keep us safely in your arms. In gratitude, we thank the Divine for allowing us this wonderful gift of Selenite so that your love and compassion may be found in yet another place in this World. In light and love, we thank you.

If you are experiencing serious negative energy that is from a known source, or negative energy from an unknown source (including ghosts or unseen visitors) or you are picking up something that may just be irritating, lay your grid after saying the prayer above. Then take a separate piece of selenite for each door that opens to the outside. One for the front door, for the back and even a garage door and sliding door. This may require 3 or 4 or 5 more pieces depending on how many doors there are in your home. My home has 5 doors to the outside that are protected.

When placing your pieces by each door (or on top of each door if there is room on the trim for it) open each door as you place the selenite and say very firmly ( and as often as you feel you need to) that all negative energy must leave the house immediately. NOW! Tell this negative energy that you are completing the grid using God energy that will be sustained by the selenite and if it does not leave, it will either be forced to leave or it will be dissipated and will exist no more. Which is true! This is what selenite does! This is why I love it!

You can give the negative energy a minute or two to leave through the opened door. Once you feel you have given the energy enough time to leave, then complete the grid for this door by placing your selenite. Then close the door. Repeat this for every door in your home.

This is powerful stuff and it really works. I am offering it here because I know it works and so many people have to come to me asking for this. You will begin to feel a sense of peace and stillness come over your home. A sense of safety. Your kids will still be noisy… but sleep will be much more profound and restful. Emotions won’t run as high as before and there will be a willingness to speak kindly and gently by everyone who lives in your home.

You may find that troublesome people stop coming by. They won’t understand why they don’t feel comfortable at your home anymore.

Taking the protection grid with you

By having another piece of selenite that has been “energized” within the energy grid you created in your home, you can take it with you in your car or in your pocket, and you will be able to instantly access the greater grid. Selenite talks with other selenite. You can even take a small piece of selenite with you and ask it to instantly contact your kyanite or your black tourmaline or your clear quartz for whatever reason; for calming, for immediate protection; for mental clarity. Whatever you use other crystals for, your selenite can put you in instant touch with that energy.

What more can I say about Selenite? Only that my office in my home is filled with it and everyone in my home loves my office! It’s a chore to keep everyone out so I can get work done. Your selenite can become a true friend. I know this sounds strange but I have no other words to explain the experience I and other people have had with it (including my own family). Sleep with it. Use it as a grid. Ask it to help you interpret dreams. Ask it to bring you what you need. Ask it to teach you what you need to know spiritually.

Selenite is a very powerful ally and can be used together with kyanite and black tourmaline to create a learning grid like no other. You will be profoundly changed if you let selenite (and these other two crystals) into your life.
